Dubai-based Toy Pro was introducing an 18″ doll to the widely untapped Middle East toy market. Hayati Girl is fashionable and modern while celebrating cultural traditions. It was important to provide parents a culturally nuanced brand they could trust and a new best friend their girl would cherish.
Bringing a wealth of experience designing packaging for dolls, the McHale team was invited to develop brand identity and create packaging design that would resonate with both child and parent; to strike a fine-line balance between aspirational moxie and traditional customs.

STYLING FOR ALL SEASONS
We developed a style guide overflowing with on-trend graphics and examples of product application. A contemporary mixture of doodle-centric accents offset thrown patterns and ornaments inspired by local geometric motifs.
We explored a range of package structure options to give the doll and accessories a cozy shelf-home and included a special Deluxe Edition holiday package featuring up-scaled embellishments and delicate finial touches.
